Garbled serial connection output

  On following the serial connection documention, I receive garbled output. The cable itself is fine. Is the instruction ok ?

  the instruction is correct after confirming, I used Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS (5.15.0-1028)

  did you follow the content as below link?

  please let me know what kind of Linux you used and share the setting of minicome for reference
