Hi Guys
Just coming back to using my AVA platform after a while, and I want to install fedora41. It complains during the install process 'failed to remove old efi boot entry' claims its probably a bug in the BIOS.
Checking the EDKII version, it seems I am running "2.04.100.10 20230418 ATF 2.06", which seems to be ahead of the version shown here: https://www.ipi.wiki/pages/ava-docs?page=firmware_A2Versions.html
I'm not sure where I got this one from, but it can only have been through an official channel. Should I try to downgrade to the one specified on the ipi wiki, or should I do something else?
Cheers
One suggestion I have had is that the efi variable storage is full, which may be causing this issue - does that sound plausible, and if so, how can I resolve the issue? Is there a way to reset to factory defaults?
Sorry for responding to myself, but I tried clearing the efi variables, but this did not work.
Also, if I manually removed the old 'Fedora' enrty from the boot list, on reboot it was still there.
So, it looks like there is an issue with accessing and modifying the NV storage?
I also found a more up to date firmware at https://www.ipi.wiki/pages/ava-developer-platform-download, updated to that version, but the same problem still persists - Fedora install fails and I am unable to remove the fedora boot entry in the bios.
Dear @Matt Spencer, FYI, AVA system is not in production now, only AADP. It may take some time to investigate and fix it. We recommend sumbit your issue on our AAE system. There you can monitor and get teh quick updates for the software bugs/technical issues.

Fedora 41 version uses kernel 6.x, which will not supported by EDKII version 2.04.xxx.xx It only has the capability to support 5.x kernel.
@Kothandaraman Kannadasan
I tried creating an account on AAE, but when I try and login, I get an error:
Encountered a "403 - Forbidden"
error while loading this page.

The only options I have are to reset username/password, which I know. How can I resolve this?
@Kothandaraman Kannadasan , I have raised issue AAE2025-362 on the AAE system.
